RCR Infrastructure approached CDS for some highly specialised rail cable for use on BHP’s rail crossing upgrade projects. Their current supplier was offering a 16 week lead time which made project scheduling very difficult. We approached our rail supplier and were able to negotiate a lead time of 10 weeks to land the cables in Perth.
Cable Distribution Services partnered with ICM Group to supply and install highly specialised high voltage cable to Paraburdoo to replace cable at site which had been supplied by another vendor. Due to the importance of the cable’s compliance, representatives from Cable Distribution Services and ICM Group accompanied end user engineers to the factory to undertake a Factory Acceptance Test and oversee all cable testing.
